Shane has lived in the Phenix City-Columbus area all of his life. His wife Leigh Ann is a graduate of Smiths Station and Auburn University.She is currently a Registered Nurse at Hughston Orthapedic Hospital. They have a son Brooks who is four years old.

Growing up, Shane loved baseball. As a second baseman at Central High School in Phenix City, he earned a college scholarship to play for Central Alabama Community College in Alexander City, AL. After 3 successful years at Central Alabama, Shane continued his education and received his B.S. degree in Business Management from Troy University. After earning his degree Shane started life after baseball and school in the Marketing Department at AFLAC.

After three successful years at AFLAC, Shane received a call from his childhood friend, Rick Carpenter. Rick was the regional director for Power Tel, and he convinced Shane to come work with him in his new venture. Shane and Rick prospered in the world of business to business telecommunication, but they wanted to have a more meaningful relationship with their clients.

After careful consideration, Shane decided that real estate sales would be a more fulfilling profession. He hit the ground running and has earned Life Membership in the Million Dollar Club. Shane and Rick again chose to work together and they have been partners in real estate for over five years.
