Originally from Northeast Georgia, in 1999 Mary and her family decided to make Columbus their home. Mary graduated from Anderson College, know today as Anderson University, in 1975. She continued her education through the University of Florida to become a Certified Dietary Manager in 1977. Mary also became a licensed Basic Emergency Medical Technician in 1976. Mary pursued a career in Nutritional Services at Elbert Memorial Hospital, in her hometown of Elberton, Georgia, for over 25 years. She has remained active in the Dietary Manager's Association where she served as President at District and State levels. Mary was the first President of the Dietary Manager's Association for the Oconee District in Athens, Georgia. Mary has also served as a member of the American Heart Association, Beta Sigma Phi, and other organizations.

Having the pleasure and experience of serving others in her previous career, Mary brings that same committment and professionalism to being a full-time REALTOR in Georgia and Alabama. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Georgia Association of Realtors, the Columbus Board of Realtors, and the Phenix City Multiple Listing Service.
